# Attentive - Integration Instructions

> Plan an Attentive connection with SourceMedium for SMS and email send performance, attributed revenue, and subscriber trend analysis alongside your other owned channels.

## Follow this integration guide to connect your Attentive data to SourceMedium.

Attentive is an SMS and email marketing platform for consumer brands. SourceMedium is scoping Attentive campaign and message data ingestion via export-based delivery, with the goal of loading it into the same performance reporting layer as Klaviyo and Postscript so you can compare owned-channel revenue with a single methodology.

### How to connect

Attentive delivers your SMS and email data to SourceMedium through a scheduled export, which SourceMedium sets up with you.

When you set this up, you (or your Attentive CSM) configure a recurring export of your subscriber and message data in Attentive (**Settings → Data Exports**), and SourceMedium provisions the destination.

### Planned data coverage

| Metric             | Description                                                |
| ------------------ | ---------------------------------------------------------- |
| Sent               | Count of outbound SMS and email messages sent per campaign |
| Clicks             | Count of link clicks from messages                         |
| Attributed revenue | Revenue from orders attributed to Attentive campaigns      |
| Subscriber events  | Opt-ins, opt-outs, and active subscriber trends            |

Once enabled, data is expected to be available daily, broken down by message type and campaign name. You can compare Attentive against other owned-channel platforms in SourceMedium reporting.

* How does Attentive click-through rate compare to our Klaviyo email flows?
* What is our SMS subscriber opt-out rate trend over the last 90 days?
* Compare Attentive, Postscript, and Klaviyo revenue for the same period
* Which Attentive message types (automation vs broadcast) have the highest revenue-per-send?

### Notes

* Attentive data ingestion cadence depends on the export frequency configured for your account.
* Historical data availability depends on the period covered by your export configuration.
