# Blotout - Integration Instructions

> Connect Blotout event data to SourceMedium through vendor-managed delivery.

## Follow this integration guide to connect your Blotout event stream to SourceMedium.

Blotout sends event data to SourceMedium through vendor-managed delivery so it can be used in funnel and attribution reporting.

### How to connect

Blotout delivers your event data to SourceMedium through a managed connection, so there is no API key for you to paste.

    Find **Blotout** in the connector picker and click **Connect**.

  <Step title="Have Blotout configure delivery">
    Ask your SourceMedium account manager for the destination details Blotout needs, then ask your Blotout customer success team to configure delivery to SourceMedium.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm it is connected">
    Once Blotout confirms delivery is active, SourceMedium validates event receipt and the connection shows **Connected**.

### What data syncs

| Server-side funnel events | Used in funnel reporting                             |
| Visitor/session context   | Used in funnel and MTA reporting where applicable    |
| Order attribution context | Used to improve attribution coverage where available |

### Notes

* Blotout data is vendor-pushed to SourceMedium; customers usually do not need to create their own cloud resources.
* Funnel-stream integrations can improve both event-level reporting and order-level attribution completeness.
