# [Premium] Klaviyo - Integration Instructions

> Connect Klaviyo to SourceMedium by pasting a read-only API key.

## Follow this integration guide to connect your Klaviyo data to SourceMedium.

Klaviyo is the email and SMS platform behind your flows and campaigns.

### How to connect

SourceMedium connects to Klaviyo with a read-only API key that you create in Klaviyo and paste into SourceMedium.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Create a read-only API key in Klaviyo">
    In Klaviyo, go to **Settings → API Keys** and click **Create Private API Key**. Label it **SourceMedium** and set its access level to **Read-Only Key**. See Klaviyo's guide: [Manage your account's API keys](https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005062267). If that link has moved, search the Klaviyo help center for "API keys".

  <Step title="Add the key in SourceMedium">
    Find **Klaviyo** in the connector picker and click **Connect**. Paste your private API key and click **Connect**.

  <Step title="Confirm it is connected">
    SourceMedium verifies the key and the connection shows **Connected**. If the key is rejected, confirm it is the read-only key you just created and try again.
